Prediction: Garfield will not "scratch" Furiosa
Anthony basically says what I've been thinking for a while, that Beetlejuice Beetlejuice could be a monster of a movie. I think it can hit it big among woman in the same vein Barbie did. Anecdotal, but a lot the Gen X, Millenial, and Gen Z women that I know love Beetlejuice and are hyped for the sequel.
Other than that, it's kind of a depressing year at the box office so far and will continue to be one. Theaters just have to weather the storm before 2025 when the amount of releases increase by a lot.
I don't go to the movie theater for a variety of reasons (it's out of my way, it's expensive, it's hard to sit down for that long without any breaks, the dialogue is often very hard to make out, and it's usually way too loud), but I might just make an exception for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. If I do, it will be my first traditional movie theater experience since The Martian.
