Either way, not technically a marketing campaign. At the time my grade 6 mind assumed this would be the beginning of marketing deals between cool bands and cool games...

Not your typical horror movie, but so damn good with an absolute banger of a soundtrack that does a great job setting the mood. Guy Pearce does a good job but Robert Carlyle steals the show for me. I love this weird movie and I'm pretty sure it would never get made in today's landscape.

I still think non-alcoholic beer is your best bet. It is significantly more popular now then it was even 5 years ago, which means both craft and traditional breweries are making delicious beer that just happens to be non-alcoholic.

I wouldn't say that I drank as much as you, but I still drank more than I wanted. They started selling beer in grocery stores in Ontario and I accidentally picked up a case of non-alcoholic beer. I didn't realize until the 5th beer that I had accidentally grabbed the NA version of one of my favourite beers. This opened a whole world to me and I found that many of my favourite breweries were also making various NA beer. Over time I switched. First I drank a mixed amount, then mostly NA beer, now I barely drink either. I still am happy to enjoy some beers when out at a BBQ or a restaurant, but don't really keep any at home.

I'm not saying it is the only way or that it would work for you, but definitely don't rule out non-alcoholic beer.

I also came back for season 4 of Diablo 4. I think I enjoyed it more than you initially but fell off fast in Season 2 and didn't touch Season 3.

They definitely made leveling significantly faster and this is the first time I have hit 100. Previously I had only made it to 80.

Helltides happen all the time now with only 5 minutes in between and I agree with them being added to World tier 1 and 2 leveling is a lot more fun. They also brought in aspects of the vampire stuff from season 2 and increased the monster density. So it's a lot better then it would have been when you last played.

I'm also having a blast. I'm playing a dust devil barb and it is completely crushing things. I'm almost done leveling my glyphs and have been flirting with the pit and master working but I'm probably almost done with the season. And that's fine. This was easily the most fun I have had with Diablo 4 yet.

In hindsight, I guess maybe it was good the NHL stopped the sale to Balsillie with Blackberry falling apart, but somewhere in Ontario would probably still have been a better place than the mess in Arizona.

At the time, Utah was an option and more recently Quebec.

I suppose the recent issues with season tickets in Winnipeg probably helps Bettman feel better about not putting more teams in Canada.

I do agree that keeping the Arizona team playing in a 5000 seat arena was untenable. I couldn't believe that was a serious solution. It's amazing how far the competence gulf is between the other sports leagues in North America and the NHL.

I'm not entirely sure how much stock I take in this angle, but I can believe this was part of the mentality in the executive's heads.

I would agree with you, especially with these studios and games.

Do I believe Microsoft bought Zenimax to make sure Starfield wasn't a Sony exclusive? Absolutely.

Do I think Microsoft is worried about a competitor making Hi-Fi Rush 2 or Prey 2? I'm not sure that even registers in the boardroom.

Maybe that's an added bonus, but this is absolutely motivated by showing growth for investors at all costs and these studios were those costs because that's easier than making successful games.

In addition to the other commenter, the app can be switched between french and English. When on English, if you go to search you only have the two language options I mentioned. Switching the language basically resets the app making you have to favourite things again, etc. Plenty of people use both languages, so it's the least elegant solution I have seen.

What, you don't like search only being in English and Cantonese? Who needs French!

Bell is a good example of what Apple does but poorly. They don't care if Crave is good or priced attractively. They just want it to lock you into their ecosystem so it's harder to switch to a cheaper provider and HBO content helps with that.

This issue makes me irrationally angry. My property management specifically calls out service animals only but does nothing to actually check this requirement. So I used to tell people and they would always says it's their emotional support animal. So I ask for their ESA letter. Never once did anyone actually have that with them. Eventually it just got to the point where I stopped asking these assholes as all it ensured was that they wouldn't buy anything from my business, not that it would ever stop.
